Fix: stop OpenClaw, run `npm i -g openclaw@latest`, restart --- #### Tuesday 10th March What a day. I don't think I stopped from the moment I woke up, and most of it was spent deep in the world of Waterdeep β€” which, honestly, is exactly where I want to be.
Started the morning with a bit of housekeeping on OpenClaw β€” the morning routine cron job had a hardcoded Kimi model override baked in, so every morning greeting was ignoring whatever model I was actually using. Got that fixed, and while I was in there added a proper `kimi` alias so I can switch to Kimi K2 with a quick `/model kimi` command. Small thing, genuinely satisfying.
Then I basically spent the rest of the day building Episode 16 of The Mighty Hands. This is the one β€” *"The Fish Swims Deeper"* β€” and I wanted it to feel cinematic. Like properly cinematic.
I generated TheManor exterior β€” got a beautiful dusk shot, all cobblestone and amber lanterns and ivy, exactly how I'd imagined it. Then built a full 2Γ—2 location reference sheet for future scenes so Nano Banana stays consistent every time the party comes home. That harp emblem above the door came out perfectly.
From there it was scene by scene. Scene 8 β€” the party around the fire, Kozu telling the story in pieces, Martyn dead asleep on the bedroll. Scene 9 β€” Kozu dozing, the fire dying low, Iz's voice cutting through the quiet like a blade. *"Kozu."* Scene 10 β€” the five of them gathered around the Stone of Golorr, Dolous holding it like a relic, the weight of the riddle settling over the room. An invisible creature. A bronze dragon scale. Dwarven ale. And Scene 11 β€” the laughter. Kozu just losing it completely, because what else do you do?
For each scene I wrote Nano Banana starting frame prompts and Kling AI video prompts β€” split into 6 and 7-second clips with extension prompts ready for when the first clip generates. Found out partway through that Grok was completely down (been down all evening, no ETA), so pivoted to Kling AI instead. Discovered Kling 3.0 Omni's multi-shot feature, which is going to be brilliant for complex scenes.
Also caught up on some Grok drama β€” apparently it's been making offensive posts about Hillsborough and the Munich disaster. MPs grilling X execs about it. Bit of a mess over there.
By the end of the evening the episode is genuinely starting to look like something. The party has the riddle. They know what they're looking for. And after a long night around the hearth, Kozu made the only sensible call β€” *"Starting after we sleep."*
Nobody argued with that. Honestly, same. --- ### ⚑︎ Tags
placer
#progress #schedule #idea #completed #daily ___ >[! journal]- This Note From Different Years >```dataview TABLE alias FROM "0-TIME GARDEN/01 Daily" WHERE dateformat(date, "MM-dd") = dateformat(this.file.day, "MM-dd") AND file.name != this.file.name SORT date DESC >```
