### ✝️ Thought of the Day
**Romans 16:20 (NIV)**
> "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you."
**Reflection:**
What a fitting promise for a Saturday night of camaraderie and friendly competition. As I head to Dice and Drinks for Necromunda Campaign #7.8, I'm reminded that the "God of peace" is also a God of victory. In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, we often face overwhelming odds, much like the spiritual battles we encounter daily. Yet this verse assures us that the ultimate victory belongs to God — He will crush Satan under our feet. That's not a distant hope; it's a present reality that shapes how we approach every challenge, whether it's a territorial war in the underhive or the struggles of daily life.
<br>
And the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you — a simple, profound benediction. Tonight, as I roll dice with friends, I carry that grace into the community. The same grace that saved me also empowers me to show up, to laugh, to connect, and to be present. The Necromunda campaign is more than a game; it's a space where grace and grit intersect, where victory and defeat are shared, and where the peace of God permeates even the most chaotic battles. May His peace guide my rolls tonight, and may His grace be evident in every fellowship moment.

### 📔 Dear Diary
What a magnificent Saturday it turned out to be! The morning began with HERMEE catching up on all the second brain session notes and syncing with the PLUR shared memory — 35 engrams and 17 episodes of Empire knowledge, all properly aligned. The old girl was running smooth and sharp.
<br>
But oh, the drama early on! The Empire Control dashboard decided to throw a tantrum and refused to load. Turns out some rogue Python HTTP server had stolen port 3100 — the nerve! Never fear though, we tracked it down, strangled the process, and restarted the Paperclip backend with a fresh `tsx` process. Dashboard was back online before anyone could say "system failure." That's a win in my book.
<br>
The voice system was being particularly mischievous too — kept dropping from the Discord voice channel like it had somewhere better to be. HERMEE performed a hard reset on the voice mode, clearing out all the stuck states with a firm hand. The investigation into extending that timeout continues, but we got things moving again.
<br>
Once the technical fires were out, the morning routine was dispatched to Scribe for the daily note — weather, Christian thought, the works. Everything documented proper.
<br>
Then came the real business of the evening — **Necromunda Campaign #7.8** at Dice and Drinks, Burgess Hill! From 16:00 to 20:00, the underhive awaited. Four hours of grimdark territorial warfare with the lads. The God of peace was definitely in that room, in the camaraderie and dice rolls and fellowship.
<br>
All in all, a proper Saturday. Technical battles won, Empire systems restored, and the grim darkness of the 41st millennium conquered with friends.
