A free Friday with nothing on the schedule — no D&D session until in two weeks, no work commitments. A rare and quiet day. The invitation here from David is countercultural: lie down in peace *before* doing anything at all. Not because the day is perfectly planned, but because safety is rooted in God's presence, not in productivity. Whether it's a walk, a coffee, or simply doing nothing — rest is the work today.

### 📔 Dear Diary
A quiet Friday — no training sessions, no obligations. Just a free day stretching out ahead. It feels strange and a bit luxurious after the busyness of the week.

**The update lands.** Hermee is now on v0.10.0 (build 2367c6ff). Everything reloaded cleanly — PLUR memory back in sync, voice confirmed on every reply. The machine hums along nicely.

**Happy Horse 1.0.** While working on the D&D videos I stumbled across this — a new AI video generator that claims native 1080p, not upscaled. Apparently it briefly topped the charts and was being talked about alongside Sora and Veo. Worth keeping an eye on for future episodes. There's a free tier on happyhorse.app with no sign-up needed. Also had a question answered about LTX 2.3's resolution — for comparison, 720p is simply 1280×720. One to remember when file size matters.

**The voice channel confusion.** Had a moment where I thought Hermee was speaking in the voice channel but it turned out to be my own microphone echoing back. All resolved, nothing broken. Also switched off the Discord reasoning traces — they were cluttering things up and I don't need to see the inner workings.

**The DaVinci problem.** Still battling with the LTX 2.3 generated clips. Scene 4 has the dialogue — the characters are talking — but LTX keeps generating unwanted background music no matter how many times I tell it not to. It's infuriating. Hermee came back with a solution: Demucs, an open-source AI tool that separates mixed audio into stems. Vocals on one track, everything else on another. Means I can strip the music out and replace it. Worth trying next time I'm in Resolve.

All in all — a productive day in the end. Free, quiet, but things got done.
